In 1956 Two large Pterosaurs emerged from Coal mines near Mount. Aso, these Two Monsters (dubbed Rodan) were trapped and killed when Mount. Aso erupted, but their son survived. over the years it would fight many Kaiju like the Infamous Godzilla, King Ghidorah, MechaGodzilla, and more. in 1993 Rodan gained the Ability to shoot Beams of Atomic energy, much like Godzilla. the only creature Rodan has ever carred for is Godzilla Jr., the two have a close bond due to the fact that rodan cared for it when it was an egg, Rodan cares for Godzilla Jr. so much that he almost died for him by giving the majority of his energy to Godzilla, in order to save Jr.
